Partial Dentures

If you’ve been yearning to achieve that perfect smile again after permanently losing one or more of your teeth but not all of your teeth, partial dentures are the perfect solution for you!

Partial dentures are dentures that can be taken in and out of the mouth. With a base that closely resembles the colour of your gums and teeth, and are held in with a clasp, or retentive device, the denture will attach to your existing teeth with ease. No one will ever be able to tell that you are wearing dentures!

From anywhere between 1-3 weeks, you could be walking out of our clinic sporting the brand new smile you deserve. Contact 1 of our 5 convenient locations to get started!

Proudly Providing Denture Care Solutions Since 1944.

For over 70 years now, patients have trusted our family at Deegan Denture Clinics to provide remarkable denture care solutions. Our professional, multi-generational team of staff are dedicated to delivering flawless results and new smiles to all. Honourably carrying the Deegan family legacy forward, our clinic is proud to offer an abundant amount of denture services, catered to meet our patient’s individual needs.

At Deegan Denture Clinics, we understand that every patient has their own unique needs and expectations for their denture and you can rest assured that we will tailor your dentures specifically to you.

Step One: We use our patient’s mouth as a model and take impressions of the upper and lower arches to ensure optimum fit upon delivery.

Step Two: Patients may come in to have their dentures adjusted in order to restore their original bite and speech. We also do an appearance check, in order to ensure the colour of the gums and teeth match the patient’s original smile.

While we make every effort to ensure the delivery of a good and functional partial denture, please remember it may take a few weeks for you and your denture to adapt to each other.

The biggest problem with partial dentures is attributed to its clasp. If the clasp is too tight, the denture will be difficult to remove; if it is too loose, it will fall out! Partial dentures can be difficult, however our highly trained staff are here to help! Should you experience any complications with your denture or need medical advice, feel free to contact us.

There are newly developed techniques in making partial dentures that improve the lives of our patients:

  • Implant-Supporting Partial Denture: This helps give additional support to the partial denture. While it offers additional support, it also requires the placement of implants in your mouth before making the denture.
  • Flexible Partial Denture: This type of denture uses a special flexible material which is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. This kind of partial denture does not use metal as its base and has hooks that are made with the same flexible plastic material.
